SuperMat® is the new universal tensioning system for posterior matrices. The miniature tensioner can be used to hold all types of matrices in position (acetate or metal, preformed or band), so you can continue to use your regular matrices. The Superlock® tensioning instrument and tiny SuperCap® cylinder are used to hold the matrix, slip it over the dental piece and apply tension. This system makes traditional matrix-holders redundant and offers a better view, easier access and greater patient comfort. It also means several fillings can be placed in the same quadrant. - There are no obstacles blocking the placement of inter-dental wedges. - No tensioning defects, better marginal adaptation and therefore a tighter configuration and adjacent contact is straightforward. - Removed without any special instruments.
