ProFile® instruments offer maximum safety due to their non-cutting "Radial Land" design and their triple U-shaped cross-section. The multiple taper design of ProFile® instruments, featuring 2-8% tapers, enables successful treatment of all three thirds of the root canal using the crown-down technique. The high flexibility of these finishing files allows gentle root canal preparation, especially in the apical third. Made of a nickel-titanium alloy, their main function is to clean and prepare all areas of the root canal system. They include several innovative design features, facilitating fast, simple root canal preparation. They are designed for working with low-speed micromotors (150-350rpm) and particularly for the crown-down technique.
